Auxiliary Programme:

On completion of this programme an Auxiliary Nurse will be able to work in Old Age Homes, Hospitals and Clinics as an assistant nurse.
Continue with further studies in nursing education to become an Enrolled Nurse.

Enrolled Nursing Programme:

On completion of this programme an Enrolled Nurse or Staff Nurse will be able to work in Old Age Homes, Hospitals and Clinics.
Continue with further studies in nursing education to become a registered nurse.

Bridging Programme:

On completion of this programme the Registered Nurse will be able to work in Hospitals, Clinics and Care Centres. Continue with further studies in nursing education and obtain further qualifications in:

  • Community Health Care Nursing
  • Midwifery
  • Psychiatry
  • Intensive Care
  • Theatre Technique
  • Paediatric Nursing
  • Trauma
  • Oncology
  • Nursing Administration
  • Nursing Education
  • Surgical and Medical Nursing
  • Orthopaedic Nursing


The Registered Nurse can:

 

  • Work in Hospital wards, theatres, ICU units etc.
  • Become a Unit Manager
  • Become a Matron
  • Become a Tutor
  • Work anywhere in South Africa and the rest of the world!
