Vaal Campus
The Vaal Campus is situated in Vereeniging and conducts formal and informal training programmes in the healthcare field. All formal nursing programmes are accredited by the S. A. Nursing Council and comprises of a theoretical and practical component. The theory and structured practical components of programmes are presented at the Vaal Campus. The practical component of the programmes are presented at private and public Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Health Care institutions affiliated with the Healthnicon and accredited by the S.A. Nursing Council.
The Community Health Worker programme is an informal programme and comprise of a theoretical and practical component. This course is presented at the Vaal Campus as well as at private institutions affiliated with The Healthnicon. The informal course is not accredited by the S.A. Nursing Council as this is not a necessity.
